A collaborative artists' book exploring auto-voyeurism containing found images and unconscious thoughts. Feminine and idiosyncratic, Hard Hats underlines the alienation that pervades a hyper-connected, yet desperately isolating world. Presented plainly, playfully, and sometimes brutally, the text and images give an earnest account of hidden desires and vulnerabilities. It is a portrait of brokenness as well as hopefulness, and pain and pleasure told as secrets.
