Kinetic Rose is the sound + video duo Karen Y. Chan and Ruyin Tsai. Their Collaboration began during quarantine in March 2020, communicating and sharing between boroughs (Queens-Brooklyn) and then cities (NYC-Taipei). This project was born from the need to continue to create and connect with others while forced to cope with the changing world in isolation. The work reflects fear, anxiety, flux, and uncertainty.
